Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4–6 retail offices and ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations. You will set expectations for consultative service, operations, and team performance, driving business results with hands-on leadership.

You’ll coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, balancing strategic oversight with in-office presence, and build high-performing teams ready to deliver for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit environment with performance accountability.
• Strong client-centric mindset and consultative service delivery.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business and financial results across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors and performance outcomes.
• Identify patterns and address performance gaps; develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and operations across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive improvements in results and retention.
• Oversee daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and compliance across offices.
