Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. seeks a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee a portfolio of 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations.

You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, guiding service standards and performance. As a visible, hands-on leader, you’ll balance strategic oversight with in-office presence, owning office readiness, staffing, facilities, compliance, and day‑to‑day operations to drive client outcomes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit environments with accountability for performance.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative client experience.
• Strong leadership with coaching and accountability.
• Experience driving business and financial results across multiple locations, including labor management.

Responsibilities

• Own 4–6 office portfolio client experience with discipline and consistency.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Lead teams by setting expectations, reinforcing accountability, and coaching for performance.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors and outcomes to strengthen execution.
• Identify patterns across offices and address performance gaps to develop bench strength.
