Job summary

Baptist Health System, Inc. is seeking an ER Float Team RN PRN Nightshift to provide comprehensive nursing care in our emergency department. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients from infancy to geriatrics, coordinating direct and indirect services as part of a collaborative ED team.

Requirements include an active Kentucky RN license, BCLS, ACLS & PALS, and 2–3 years ER experience. TNCC preferred and NIHSS required.

Job Duties:

A registered nurse implements the nursing process for each patient/resident (infancy to geriatrics depending on scope of care in the nursing department in which he/she works) assigned to his/her care. He/she is responsible for the co-ordination of direct and indirect care within the parameters of the Kentucky Nurse Practice Act and the policies and procedures of Baptist Health emergency departments. Responsibilities will commensurate with the education preparation and demonstrated competencies.

Requirements:

Active Kentucky RN License required

BCLS required

ACLS & PALS required

2-3 years ER experience required

TNCC Preferred

NIHSS Required
