Texas Materials - East Texas Area is seeking an Area Equipment Manager to optimize equipment and fleet assets across the Texas Materials footprint. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, productivity and cost-effectiveness, with collaboration across CRH leadership and field teams.

The position requires hands-on management with strong financial acumen, P&L awareness, and engagement with equipment managers to drive value and safety. Travel up to 70% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or technical degree or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Equipment Managers in repair and maintenance decision-making through coaching, guidance, and hands-on support.
• Drive cost reduction and operational efficiency initiatives whilst maintaining high equipment availability and performance.
• Maintain open communication with end users, stakeholders, and internal teams via phone, email, Teams, and in-person visits.
• Visit stakeholder locations regularly to identify opportunities, solve problems, and provide on-the-ground support for evolving business scenarios.
• Communicate progress, challenges, and recommendations to divisional leadership and operating company teams.
