Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking an Area Equipment Manager to optimize equipment and fleet assets across a geographic region. You will focus on safety, reliability, productivity and cost-effectiveness, collaborating with CRH leadership and site teams to drive value.

Responsibilities include leading Equipment Managers, managing CapEx strategy, and driving performance through cost reductions, risk management, and continuous improvement. Travel up to 70% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related experience required.
• 5+ years of equipment management experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic equipment management systems and managing P&L responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead Equipment Managers in repair and maintenance decision-making and coaching.
• Drive cost reduction and operational efficiency while maintaining equipment availability.
• Maintain open communication with stakeholders via phone, email, Teams, and in-person visits.
• Visit stakeholder locations regularly to identify opportunities and provide on-ground support.
• Communicate progress and recommendations to leadership and operating teams.
• Develop and execute a five-year CapEx strategy for equipment replacement and lifecycle management.
• Strengthen supplier relationships and service agreements to drive value.
