Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking an Area Equipment Manager to lead equipment and fleet assets across the assigned territory, with a focus on safety, reliability, productivity and cost-effectiveness. You will work closely with CRH Division Leadership, Company Presidents, and their teams through hands-on management and visibility in the business.

You will collaborate with Equipment Managers and external dealers to establish and strengthen long-term supplier relationships, optimize asset

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or technical school degree with related experience.
• Experience with electronic equipment management systems.
• Experience managing P&L responsibility.
• Experience in mining, construction, or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead Equipment Managers in repair and maintenance decision-making through coaching and hands-on support.
• Drive cost reduction and operational efficiency initiatives while maintaining high equipment availability and performance.
• Maintain open communication with end users, stakeholders, and internal teams via phone, email, Teams, and in-person visits.
• Visit stakeholder locations regularly to identify opportunities, solve problems, and provide on-the-ground support for evolving business scenarios.
• Communicate progress, challenges, and recommendations to divisional leadership and operating company teams.
