Job summary

Monarch Communities seeks a Floating Environmental Services Specialist to support maintenance across Northern New Jersey. This exempt, salaried role involves leading Environmental Services, Maintenance, and Housekeeping efforts across multiple sites in the region.

The position requires travel to various locations within the region, overseeing safety, compliance, and capital projects, with a 75,000–80,000 USD yearly salary and full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in maintenance, facilities management, or related field.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety).
• Hands-on maintenance experience (carpentry, painting, repair work).
• Proficient with MS Office and facility management software.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, and supervise Environmental Services, Maintenance, and Housekeeping departments.
• Coordinate services with Wellness, Marketing, Sales, and Food Service.
• Review and monitor monthly expenditures against budget.
• Develop staff schedules and work assignments.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations and safety.
• Maintain inspections, logs, and certifications per regulations.
