Job summary

Monarch Communities and Brandywine Senior Living seeks an Environmental Services Director to lead maintenance, housekeeping, and environmental services across our community. The role drives safety, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency while managing a team and coordinating with Wellness, Marketing, Food Service, and Sales.

You will develop policies, schedule staff, monitor budgets, and oversee trades, contracts, and life-safety programs to ensure resident comfort and safety, with

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in maintenance, facilities management, or related field.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Knowledge of building systems and life safety requirements.
• Hands-on maintenance skills including carpentry and basic repairs.
• Ability to operate power and handheld tools.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise Environmental Services, Maintenance, and Housekeeping departments.
• Develop schedules and staffing to meet department needs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Manage department budget and monitor expenditures monthly.
• Coordinate with other departments and vendors for services.
• Lead safety programs and emergency drills.
