Job summary

HDR is hiring a North Central Region Environmental Sciences and Planning Leader to provide strategic and operational leadership for environmental services across HDR's North Central regions. This role requires guiding staff development, collaboration with Area Operations Managers, and alignment with enterprise plans while traveling regionally.

The successful candidate will drive regional growth, oversee delivery excellence, and partner with cross-sector teams to deliver multi-discipline

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a professional, architecture, engineering or closely related field.
• 10 years of experience in a related field.
• Experience leading diverse teams and cross-functional groups.
• Ability to partner with Area Operations, leadership, and marketing on business class efforts.
• Commitment to quality, HDR values, and employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, operational, and people leadership for Environmental services region.
• Align regional plans with HDR strategies and lead initiatives across business communities.
• Develop and mentor Area Leads and support training and career pathways.
• Support regional business development, capture planning, and proposals.
• Oversee project delivery, quality standards, and continuous improvement.
• Lead regional leadership meetings and maintain communications with executives.
