Job summary

HDR is seeking a North Central Region Environmental Sciences and Planning Leader to guide strategy, operations, and staff development across HDR regions. The role collaborates with Area Operations Managers, Business Group Leaders, and market sector leaders to align environmental services with regional and enterprise goals.

Based in the North Central region, this leader will drive staffing, resource planning, client engagement, and project delivery excellence across multiple market sectors,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• 10 years experience in related field.
• Experienced in development and management of diverse teams.
• Works cooperatively with other regional directors and leaders.
• Committed to quality and HDR values.
• Active participant in the employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, operational, and people leadership for the Regional Business Class.
• Lead regional leadership meetings and coordinate with Area Operations/Leaders.
• Drive regional planning, budgeting, and alignment with enterprise plans.
• Support business development, client relationships, and capture planning.
• Ensure project delivery excellence and adherence to HDR quality standards.
