Job summary

HDR is seeking a North Central Region Environmental Sciences and Planning Leader to guide environmental services strategy across HDR's North Central operations. This leader will drive regional staff development, delivery excellence, and business growth while aligning with HDR's culture of inclusion and employee ownership.

The role requires strong leadership, collaboration across multiple offices, and travel within the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• 10 years experience in related field.
• Experience leading diverse teams.
• Ability to collaborate with regional directors, operations managers, and marketing on business class efforts.
• Commitment to quality, HDR values.
• Active participant in HDR employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, operational, and people leadership for the Business Class in alignment with regional and enterprise plans.
• Build relationships with Area Operations, Business Class/Section Leads, and leadership.
• Participate in regional strategic planning, budgeting, annual alignment.
• Implement key Business Class initiatives while promoting cross-Area integration.
• Coordinate staffing, workshare, utilization, and workload balancing across Areas.
• Recruit, mentor, onboard, and develop Area Leads.
• Partner with Business Groups to strengthen client relationships and growth strategies.
• Lead project delivery with quality standards and continuous improvement.

Education
