Liquid Environmental Solutions seeks a Regional Environmental Compliance Manager to oversee environmental compliance and permitting across its wastewater facilities. The role partners with Plant Managers, Operations, Lab personnel, Engineering, and Corporate EHS to ensure consistent program execution.

The regional lead provides technical audits, coordinates inspections, drives corrective actions, and promotes a proactive compliance culture. Travel 40-60% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline (or equivalent).
• Minimum 7 years of progressive environmental compliance experience in regulated industries.
• Experience across multiple facilities or geographic regions.
• Audits experience and support for regulatory inspections.
• Knowledge of federal, state, local environmental regulations (pretreatment, wastewater, SPCC, stormwater).
• Experience implementing corrective actions and root cause analyses.
• Strong technical writing for regulatory docs and reports.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with operations and leadership.
• Strong organization and multi-project management.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsabilités

• Lead environmental compliance across a regional group of facilities, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local rules.
• Provide technical guidance to facility leadership, promoting proactive environmental stewardship.
• Conduct routine audits to evaluate permit compliance, operations, records, laboratories, and policies.
• Prepare for regulatory inspections and coordinate responses to requests and follow-ups.
• Investigate violations, perform root cause analyses, and verify timely corrective actions.
• Deliver compliance training and coach staff on requirements and playbooks.
• Support permitting activities, renewals, and regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Labs, Safety, Legal, and others to embed compliance.
• Report facility performance and risks to the Director of Environmental Compliance.
• Travel 40-60% to facilities to lead audits, inspections, and partnerships.
