Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an Environmental Compliance Manager to oversee regulatory functions at our facilities. This role focuses on ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local environmental and health & safety regulations across sites.

The position requires a BS/BA (environmental field) and 2+ years of compliance experience, with knowledge of EPA rules and RCRA. You will lead audits, coordinate permits, and train staff while traveling to facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree required in environmental field.
• 2+ years of environmental compliance experience.
• Knowledge of EPA laws and regulations.
• RCRA 40 CFR hazardous waste knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Conduct reviews to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations.
• Advise management on corrective actions for non-compliance.
• Coordinate permits and renewals; maintain environmental plans and procedures.
