Prometheus Real Estate Group is seeking a Building Operations/Management leader to oversee mid‑rise and high‑rise properties and a retail portfolio in the Bay Area. You will drive efficient maintenance, safety, and vendor coordination while partnering with staff and contractors to meet financial and service goals.

You will mentor an internal and outsourced engineering team, review construction plans, ensure code compliance, and maintain high standards of property operations across multiple

Qualifications

• Minimum seven (7) years of experience in mid-rise and high-rise office buildings.
• Five (5) years of supervisory property management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; GED accepted if needed.
• Technical experience in FACP, electrical, HVAC, locks, water features, fire life safety systems, and building automation.
• Strong written and verbal communication across functions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all physical operations of mid‑rise, high‑rise and retail properties to ensure productive tenant environments.
• Manage internal and outsourced staff to achieve property financial goals and maintenance efficiency.
• Develop and mentor internal and outsourced engineering teams; coordinate resources for large-scale projects.
• Review construction plans, ensure code compliance, and monitor schedules with third‑party contractors.
• Maintain industry expertise to oversee contracts, pricing and stakeholder relationships.
