Job summary

Rain for Rent is seeking a Regional Engineer to support Applications Engineering and New Product Development. You will contribute to mechanical, electrical, and controls design, and lead engineering projects from concept through field deployment.

You will collaborate with manufacturing and service teams, perform risk analyses, and ensure regulatory compliance while advancing product reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering role supporting product development and applications
• Familiarity with electronics and hydraulics in liquid handling systems
• Ability to manage projects in field environments

Responsibilities

• Provide applications engineering support for systems designs
• Lead new product development projects and manage timelines
• Support instrumentation and controls engineering tasks
• Coordinate project delivery in the field including site plans and budgets
• Review equipment and process designs for manufacturability and reliability
• Develop technical training materials and participate in training sessions
• Maintain library of standard parts and product information on intranet
• Perform risk assessments and regulatory compliance checks
