Job summary

Air Methods is seeking exceptional pilots to join our PacWest Regional Relief operations in Washington. The role focuses on ensuring aircraft airworthiness, complying with FAR/AIM/GOM, and safeguarding patients and crew across an assigned region.

Candidates should have substantial helicopter experience, 2500 total helicopter hours, PIC time, and meet ALNW/ALNW-related requirements. Competitive pay scales and stipends are offered, with relocation and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Operates Air Methods aircraft safely and legally.
• Completes pre-flight checks and daily flight log sign-off.
• Maintains authority over flight operations and safety of passengers, cargo and equipment.
• Familiar with aircraft and medical systems used at the operational area.
• Completes required documentation and conducts flight planning with high standards.
• Participates in meetings and community outreach as needed.
