Job summary

Air Methods seeks exceptional pilots to join our air medical transport team, providing 24/7 service. You will ensure aircraft airworthiness, comply with FAR/AIM/GOM, and support patient transport within an assigned area.

Candidates should have extensive rotor-wing experience, FAA certificates, and be able to perform detailed flight planning with little notice. Steps-based pay with ACCRA bonuses applies; relocation benefits listed in the package.

Qualifications

• 2000 total flight hours with minimum 1500 hours in category.
• 1000 hours PIC in category.
• 500 hours rotor wing turbine.
• 200 hours cross-country flight time, 50+ hours night.
• 200 hours total actual or hood instrument time.

Responsibilities

• Operates Air Methods aircraft in a safe and legal manner.
• Completes pre-flight and daily flight log sign-offs.
• Serves as final authority for safe operations of aircraft and passengers.
• Ensures medical interior and systems familiarity for crew.
• Completes required documentation.
• Performs detailed flight planning with short notice.
• Participates in meetings, projects, and outreach.
