Air Methods in the PacWest region seeks exceptional pilots to provide 24/7 air medical transport services. You will ensure aircraft airworthiness, safety, and compliance with FAR, AIM, and GOM during operations in an assigned area.

Responsibilities include thorough pre-flight checks, flight planning, and maintaining documentation, with final authority on safety and operations. The role offers a non-standard schedule and requires strong teamwork.

Formación

• Two-year college or technical school with 2–5 years related experience and/or training.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Air Methods will provide accommodations as required by law.

Responsabilidades

• Operates Air Methods aircraft in a safe and legal manner.
• Completes pre-flight checks before every flight verifying airworthiness.
• Final authority for operations and safety of passengers, cargo, and equipment.
• Familiar with all aircraft and medical systems of backup aircraft used at the area.
• Completes required documentation for each flight.
• Performs detailed flight planning with exacting standards.
• Participates in meetings, projects, committees and outreach.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
