Regional Employee Relations Manager Necessary Competencies:

Regional Employee Relations Manager Necessary Responsibilities:

  • Designs and ensures implementation of the Regional Employee Relations strategic vision for the Americas platform on an annual basis. Acts as a key point of contact for senior leadership for employee relations issues.
  • Oversees - and for the most sensitive matters - conducts internal investigations into employee allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, violations of Human Resources policies and other employment / legal matters.
  • Assists and participates in conducting disciplinary meetings and preparing warnings and related documentation for employment matters.
  • Oversees and contributes to the coordination of reductions-in-force, including working with the business to assess their future needs and structure; partners with employment legal counsel to vet decisions and assess legal risk.
  • Manages reporting to senior management on risks and trends.
  • Designs, provides, and/or recommends trainings on a range of employee relations issues designed to mitigate risk.
  • Assists senior management with the execution of compliance programs, internal audits, external audits, and government audits.
  • Works with the Human Resources Operations team to review and assist with the ongoing development, evaluation, and maintenance of documentation (e.g., Standard Operating Procedures, Policies) to ensure complete, accurate, and up-to-date depiction of processes.
  • Partners with key stakeholders throughout the bank on ER related topics, not limited to; surveillance, breaches, accommodations, operational risk, security, etc.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 5+ years of employee relations involvement
  • Employment law experience
  • Human Resources Business Partner experience
  • Experience managing a team and/or leading a function
  • Strong organizational/reporting skills
  • Experience creating and analyzing metrics-based trend and statistical reports
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • HR experience within a financial services organization

COMPENSATION:
Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience. The role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and includes a competitive benefits package including 401(k) plan with company match, medical/dental/vision, and other benefits for fertility, wellness, student loans and commuters.
