Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manages estimating functions in assigned region, including budgets and staffing.
• Implements established estimating policies to meet corporate objectives.
• Assists project managers in negotiating purchase orders, subcontracts, and change orders.
• Supervises the preparation of market cost studies, materials and methods, and recommends changes to the database.
• Reviews project details with leadership to determine strategies, techniques, and resources needed.
• Provides coordination with design leads for cost effectiveness and constructability for proposals.
• Maintains standardized use of estimating systems and cost databases.
• Keeps historical data for estimating man-hours and bid results by project.
• Reviews final estimates for accuracy and completeness for quotes.
