Responsibilities

• Manages and administers estimating functions for region/area/group, including budgets, staffing, and work assignments.
• Implements estimating policies to meet corporate objectives.
• Collaborates with project managers on purchase orders, subcontracts, and change orders during procurement.
• Supervises preparation of market cost studies and materials/methods analysis, suggesting database changes.
• Reviews project details with region leadership and helps determine strategies and resources.
• Coordinates with design leads for cost effectiveness and constructability of proposals.
• Ensures use of approved estimating systems and maintains the cost database.
• Maintains historical data for estimating man-hours and bid results by project.
• Reviews final estimates and proposals for accuracy and completeness.
