Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 10 years of related experience with at least 3 years in supervision/management.
• Travel may be required domestically and/or internationally; travel frequency depends on duties.
• Equivalent related experience can substitute for a degree.

Responsabilités

• Manage and administer estimating functions for the region, including budgets and staffing.
• Implement estimating policies to meet corporate objectives.
• Assist project managers in negotiating purchase orders, subcontracts, and change orders.
• Supervise preparation of market cost studies and material methods; update cost database.
• Provide leadership input on project details and strategic resource planning.
• Coordinate with design leads for cost effectiveness and constructability in proposals.
• Ensure standardized use and maintenance of estimating systems.
• Maintain historical data on estimating hours for various estimate types.
• Review final estimate and proposal packages for accuracy and completeness.
• Contact subcontractors and suppliers for outsource pricing.
