Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manages and administers estimating functions in assigned region, area or group to include budgets, staffing assignments, and work assignments.
• Implements established estimating policies to meet corporate objectives.
• Works with project managers to provide admin and technical assistance in negotiating purchase orders, subcontracts, and change orders during procurement.
• Supervises preparation of market cost studies, materials and methods, and recommends changes to databases.
• Reviews project details with region leadership and determines strategies and resources needed.
• Coordinates with design leads for cost effectiveness and constructability in proposals.
• Maintains standardized use of estimating systems and cost databases.
• Keeps historical data for estimating man-hours for various types of estimates and bid results.
• Reviews final estimates and proposals for accuracy and completeness.
