Job summary

FirstEnergy Pennsylvania Electric Company, a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp, seeks a Line Supervisor based at the Butler Service Center. This 24/7 role directs crews in construction, maintenance, repair, testing, and operation of the electric transmission and distribution system.

You will oversee safety, coordinate resources, and supervise line workers during energised line work, outages and storm restoration. Strong leadership and electrical knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 5–7 years in an electrical field.
• Ability to read, alter and communicate complex prints and specs.
• Advanced knowledge of electric transmission and distribution systems.
• Supervisory experience preferred and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise employees in electric transmission and distribution line work.
• Demonstrate safety commitment and enforce work practices per standards.
• Coordinate equipment, tools, materials, and supplies for projects.
• Schedule construction, maintenance, repair, or test work with other departments.
• Provide internal and external customer service and supervise emergency response.
