Clear Destination Inc. seeks a Regional Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to oversee EHS programs across multiple manufacturing facilities in the Tri-State region.

You will drive a strong safety culture on the production floor, perform audits, ergonomic assessments, industrial hygiene monitoring, and incident investigations, and report findings to site leadership. The role involves approximately 25% overnight travel and requires a Bachelor's degree in industrial safety with 3–5 years of

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial, environmental safety, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing environment with multisite responsibility preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to one week per month.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain EHS programs and policies to ensure health, safety, and compliance.
  • Provide EHS direction and support for management and staff.
  • Respond to emergencies and lead efforts to prevent future loss.
  • Lead investigations into injuries, illnesses, and near-misses with root-cause analysis.
  • Conduct safety and environmental audits and incident investigations; recommend corrective actions.
  • Lead ergonomic initiatives and assess tasks for ergonomic improvements.
  • Oversee regional permits (air emissions, SWPPP, SPCC, RCRA).
  • Lead Safety Ambassadors to foster a zero-accident culture.
  • Conduct training per corporate guidelines (Lockout/Tagout, hazard communication, PPE).
  • Assist with workers' compensation and return-to-work programs.
