Job summary

Carrier’s North America Field Business is seeking an EH&S Specialist for the U.S. Central Region. This role audits, coordinates and facilitates EH&S policies to ensure compliance with laws, regulations and Carrier standards.

The position can be located anywhere in the Central US close to a major airport. The role requires 3+ years in Commercial HVAC or EHS, travel up to 50%, and a Bachelor’s degree with preferred CIH/CSP certifications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Commercial HVAC or EHS with safety programs, regulatory compliance, risk assessments, auditing, inspections, and employee training.
• Experience with regulatory compliance, risk assessments, auditing, inspections and training programs.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Support regional leadership to achieve operations success.
• Develop, implement and measure EHS programs, policies, training, and procedures.
• Perform auditing, inspections, and incident investigations with root-cause analysis.
