Job summary

Air Products, based in Allentown, PA, is seeking a North Subregion EHS Manager to guide Environmental, Health, and Safety leadership across 75+ sites in the Northern United States and Eastern Canada.

You will drive safety performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor a diverse team while partnering with site leadership to embed a culture of continuous improvement. Expect up to 50% travel and a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of field safety and EHS management experience in a petrochemical, refinery, industrial gas, or related facility.
• 3+ years of experience managing direct reports
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and analytical problem-solving skills
• Solid understanding of OSHA, EPA, PSM/RMP, DOT regulations; familiarity with Canadian regulations is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of EHS professionals and provide strategic direction across 75+ sites in the Northern United States and Eastern Canada.
• Drive a culture of safety and lead proactive risk reduction initiatives.
• Investigate and mitigate EHS and driver safety risks; manage change and corrective actions.
• Lead responses to OSHA recordable injuries and significant EHS events; manage return-to-work programs.
• Develop and execute regional EHS strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Review EHS performance trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide training, site assessments, and support to site leadership on compliance and operational issues.
• Travel up to 50% within the North Subregion.
