Elkay is seeking an EHS Manager to lead environmental, health, and safety programs across its Freeport and Lanark facilities in Illinois, with about 20% travel. The role focuses on proactive safety culture, regulatory compliance, incident investigation, and performance reporting.

The ideal candidate holds a relevant bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing, with strong analytical and organizational skills and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, environmental science, or closely related field.
• 3–5 years of EHS experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement and manage EHS programs to ensure OSHA and environmental compliance.
• Manage workers’ compensation loss control and early return-to-work programs.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions using root-cause analysis.
• Deliver EHS training and maintain site EHS documentation and audits.
• Partner with site leadership to drive a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement.
