Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Environmental Health, Environmental Engineering, or related field is required.
• 2–5 years of experience in EHS, with 1–2 years in leadership; manufacturing background preferred.
• Ability to travel 25–50%.
• Advanced knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in the industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Experience developing training programs for EHS.
• Experience with root-cause mapping and incident tools.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and data processing.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS program leadership and support across regional facilities.
• Conduct audits to verify regulatory compliance and identify improvements.
• Track and report EHS performance metrics and support corrective actions.
• Manage workers' compensation activities and return-to-work programs.
• Coordinate regulatory inspections and documentation.
• Lead Carolina Star Program activities and audits at Apex, NC.
