Mitsubishi Performance Polymers Division in Greer, SC is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead safety across four PPD manufacturing facilities and one site in Covington, GA. This is a highly visible leadership role partnering with plant leadership to protect employees, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health & Safety or related field with 3+ years EHS experience, OR
• 8+ years of directly related Environmental, Health & Safety experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to travel up to 50% to support EHS initiatives, conduct site visits, lead investigations, and partner with leadership across assigned facilities.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations with OSHA compliance and EHS programs.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, incident investigations, root cause analysis, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience developing and implementing EHS policies, procedures, and employee training programs.
• Proven ability to influence leaders and promote a strong safety culture.
• Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting multiple manufacturing facilities or regional operations is highly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic and hands-on leadership for environmental, health, and safety initiatives across multiple locations.
• Ensure OSHA and environmental compliance while partnering with site leaders to identify risks and implement solutions.
• Lead incident reporting, investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS policies, procedures, and management systems.
• Interpret regulatory requirements and advise leadership on compliance obligations and best practices.
• Monitor safety performance and develop strategies to reduce hazards and injuries.
• Oversee workers' compensation programs and coordinate with third-party admins and medical providers.
• Design and evaluate employee safety training programs, including behavioral-based safety.
• Conduct EHS audits, inspections, and risk assessments with timely corrective actions.
• Analyze EHS metrics and identify opportunities to improve safety and operational excellence.
• Partner with plant leadership to sustain a proactive, employee-focused safety culture.
• Stay current on environmental and safety regulations and ensure compliance across locations.
