Job summary

Medline Industries, LP in Rialto, CA seeks an experienced EHS Leader to implement safety and environmental programs for a single facility, identify regulations, and partner with management to build a strong culture of continuous improvement and safety.

You will lead audits, investigations, training, and reporting, ensuring DOT/hazmat compliance; collaborate across risk, quality, legal and HR; and drive action plans to mitigate risks while aligning with company-wide best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Health, Business or related field.
• At least 4 years of experience applying and implementing environmental, health & safety programs.
• At least 2 years of audit, compliance and training experience focusing on OSHA, USDOT, NFPA, ISO and EPA standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and environmental strategies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Partner on all EHS regulatory issues and concerns.
• Facilitate accountability and oversight of EHS programs.
• Conduct EHS audits, including annual compliance and ISO 14001 audits.
• Develop and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct incident investigations and workers' compensation follow-up.
• Deliver EHS and regulatory training for employees.
• Prepare reports and metrics for internal and regulatory bodies.
• Audit and report on performance to clients and regulators.
• Ensure DOT and hazmat compliance.
• Collaborate with facilities to align EHS programs.
