AEP in Tulsa, Oklahoma seeks a seasoned Economic Development leader to provide overall direction and support in the company’s service territory. This role requires strong strategic and analytical abilities, plus excellent written and verbal communication skills to build relationships with diverse partners.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in economics, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of economic/business development experience including industry-specific work.
• Master's degree preferred and CEDP or similar certification preferred.
• Demonstrated strategic and analytical skills.
• Strong oral and written communications along with relationship-building and collaboration.

Mansioni

• Proactively identifies and manages business relationships with companies in target sector.
• Generate business leads and secure revenue producing investment in the AEP service territory.
• Serve as a resource to Marketing, Community Affairs or Economic Development personnel.
• Manage and implement proposals for companies requesting buildings or sites in AEP territory.
• Support asset utilization and business development efforts.
• Assume other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate the highest standards of ethical behavior and support Corporate Compliance.
