Job summary

The Indiana Economic Development Corporation seeks a Project Manager to serve as the key regional representative for the Southern Indiana region, managing IEDC projects and negotiating deals that create Hoosier jobs. You will develop partnerships with local and state organizations, travel regionally, and support program applications and CRM updates.

Required is a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 1–3 years in economic development preferred; international business development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience in relevant fields such as Economic Development, Community Development, Urban Planning, Real Estate Sales and/or Development, Sales/Business Development.
• 1-3 years of experience in economic development or related field (preferred).
• International Business Development experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manages and negotiates competitive expansion and business attraction projects in the Southern Indiana Region.
• Builds and maintains relationships with economic development partners within the State.
• Travels within the region to assess needs and communicate requirements for assistance programs.
