Job summary

Civicworks seeks a Project Manager to represent the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) for counties in Southern Indiana. The role involves managing economic development projects, negotiating attraction and expansion deals, and building strong relationships with partners, businesses, and officials.

The position requires residency in Southern Indiana, travel within the region, and proficiency with CRM systems and Office software to support IEDC programs and regional initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economic Development, Community Development, Urban Planning, Real Estate, Sales/Business Development, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in economic development or related field (preferred).
• Ability to negotiate complex business transactions and lead economic development partners in unified responses.
• Strong knowledge of Indiana's core industries (aerospace, manufacturing, life sciences, logistics, IT, microelectronics).
• Willingness to maintain residency in Southern Indiana region and travel frequently within the region.
• Proficiency with CRM databases, Microsoft Office, and other relevant technology platforms.
