Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics in Georgia is seeking a Regional Domestic Operations Manager to lead regional operations, drive profitability, and ensure service excellence across the domestic network.

You will partner with the Regional Director of Operations to implement strategies, optimize processes, and manage P&L. This role requires strong leadership, logistics expertise, and a proven track record in cost control and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• 7+ years in logistics/operations management (Required).
• 3+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Knowledge of freight forwarding operations and best practices.
• Expertise in P&L and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Set regional and local goals aligned with the business plan.
• Develop policies, procedures, and programs to meet organizational needs and ensure compliance.
• Vet linehaul providers and maintain key carrier relationships to optimize service and cost.
• Direct station teams and support onboarding of new accounts and SOP development.
• Monitor regional P&L and drive cost improvements and operational excellence.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across key service areas.
