Job summary

The Children’s Place is seeking a District Manager in Secaucus, New Jersey, to drive profitable sales growth across a geographic region of stores. You will be accountable for district financial results and for leading and developing the store management team to achieve company strategies.

Responsibilities include building a high-performing district team, coaching managers, and delivering on sales, payroll, and customer-experience goals while maintaining brand standards and loss-prevention

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 5–7 years of multi-unit retail experience.
• Proven track record in selecting and developing high-performing talent.
• Strong ability to present information clearly to managers, customers, and the public.
• Ability to read and interpret moderately complex financial reports.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a diverse, high-performing district store management team through recruitment, development, and motivation.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and direction to meet district and regional goals.
• Communicate business and financial objectives effectively across the district.
• Analyze district performance and provide actionable feedback to regional leadership.
• Develop and execute a district sales strategy for profitable growth.
• Lead store teams to meet sales and payroll budgets with effective execution.
• Foster a selling culture and ensure a superior customer experience across the district.
• Ensure brand standards are articulated and maintained consistently.
• Collaborate with Loss Prevention to meet shrink goals and policy compliance.
• Drive performance management and development of district associates.
• Represent the company professionally in all interactions.
