Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Operations Manager in Savannah to oversee the Regional Distribution Center and a team of ~20 across two shifts. You will manage receiving, processing, shipping, and delivering flooring products throughout GA and SC, driving safety and service excellence.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of DOT compliance, and the ability to collaborate with Sales and Customer Service to meet customer expectations and improve performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field is required.
• 1+ year of logistics experience or 3+ years with an associate degree.
• Ability to coach and develop leadership teams to improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Regional Distribution Center performance, focusing on safety, customer experience, engagement, and cost efficiency.
• Provide clear direction across all shifts and remove operational barriers.
• Drive accountability through coaching and growth for associates.
• Collaborate daily with Sales and Customer Service to resolve exceptions and maintain service.
• Report facility performance to the Director of Regional Operations and pursue continuous improvement.
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure DOT compliance.
• Motivate associates and implement process improvements for ownership and initiative.
• Negotiate freight rates and expand Shaw Truck's market presence while meeting customer needs.
• Optimize transportation resources for timely delivery and pickup.
