Job summary

American Red Cross in Connecticut is seeking a Regional Mass Care Manager for the CT-RI region, with preferred location Farmington; other options Milford, Bridgeport, or Providence.

You will oversee regionwide mass care planning, manage volunteers, and coordinate disaster readiness, response, and recovery efforts. Deployments may be required and will involve collaboration with partners and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience building, mobilizing, leading and developing volunteer teams for social services.
• Travel is required; valid driver's license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and empower a diverse volunteer team implementing disaster cycle services across the region.
• Implement disaster cycle services or regional activities within the area.
• Develop Disaster Leadership Volunteers and partner with community organizations.
