Job summary

AoPS Academy is seeking a Regional Director (West) to lead growth, uphold academic standards, and drive performance across multiple campuses from a remote location in the United States. The role requires frequent travel within the region and collaboration with HQ leadership to execute strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have multi-site leadership experience, strong financial acumen, and a track record of building high-performing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience teaching K-12 or education administration/management preferred.
• Multi-site leadership and management experience.
• Strong financial management incl. budget development; understanding of margin drivers.
• Business or analytical background to monitor data and budgets.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and operational oversight for all AoPS Academy campuses in the region.
• Monitor program quality, student engagement, and academic rigor across campuses.
• Establish regional performance standards, analyze data, and report KPI updates to HQ leadership.
• Conduct monthly financial reviews and support campus leaders in making sound financial decisions.
• Hire, develop, and manage campus leadership teams; oversee hiring and development programs.
• Partner with Talent Strategy and Academy leadership on staffing, roles, and compensation.
• Support expansion efforts through market research and site identification.
• Communicate regional feedback to HQ and drive improvements in operations and systems.
• Escalate and resolve campus issues as needed.
