Job summary

Art of Problem Solving (AoPS) is seeking a Regional Director (West) to steer growth and ensure campuses meet educational and performance standards. The role emphasizes strategic direction, operational oversight, and collaboration with HQ and campus leaders across regions.

The ideal candidate will manage budgets, oversee hiring, lead expansion efforts, and report KPI updates, while navigating a remote, travel‑heavy schedule and aligning regional goals with AoPS’s mission to train the next

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; advanced degree preferred.
• Multi-site leadership and management experience.
• Strong financial management skills and budget oversight.
• Business or analytical background to support data and budgets.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and operational oversight for all AoPS Academy campuses in the assigned region.
• Train to uphold AoPS educational mission and standards; monitor program quality and campus engagement.
• Establish regional performance standards and growth objectives; analyze data and report KPI updates.
• Conduct monthly financial reviews with campus and HQ leadership; manage margins.
• Hire, develop, and manage campus leadership teams; lead cross-campus mentorship and knowledge sharing.
• Lead staffing, promotion structures, and compensation planning with Talent Strategy and Academy leadership.
• Support expansion efforts by launching new campuses and conducting market research.
• Communicate across management levels; document and elevate regional feedback to HQ.
