Job summary

Charles Schwab Corporation is seeking an experienced sales professional to acquire and grow Schwab Asset Management solutions within a defined territory. You will build durable relationships with Financial Consultants, branch leaders and regional partners, translating investment concepts into client conversations.

This telecommute role requires strong judgment, investment fluency and the ability to manage a geographically dispersed territory with regular travel.

Qualifications

• Active and valid FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Substantial experience in consultative sales, business development or relationship management.
• Experience in financial services, wealth management or related fields.
• Ability to explain investment concepts clearly and in client-friendly terms.
• Willingness to travel regularly within territory.

Responsibilities

• Own acquisition and growth for Schwab Asset Management solutions and third-party offerings across the territory.
• Build durable relationships with Financial Consultants, branch leaders and regional partners.
• Act as a strategic thought partner to identify client needs and position investment solutions.
• Join advisor meetings to provide education on investment strategies and solutions.
• Develop knowledge of investment philosophies, portfolio concepts and product features.
• Deliver sales ideas, product updates and market-informed education to clients.
• Lead branch education and rollout of new products and initiatives.
• Develop and execute in-market client events, meetings and webcasts.
• Use Salesforce, Tableau and reporting tools to manage opportunities and analyze trends.
• Collaborate across WAMS and with marketing, product and investment partners.
• Manage the territory with regular travel and field presence.
