Job summary

Charles Schwab's Wealth & Asset Management Solutions (WAMS) team is seeking an experienced relationship-building sales professional to drive acquisition and growth across the territory. You will translate investment concepts into clear client conversations and partner with financial consultants, branch leaders and regional partners to connect the right solutions to client needs.

This telecommute role involves regular travel within the territory; you must live within the territory.

Qualifications

• Active and valid FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Substantial experience in consultative sales, business development or relationship management with a proven track record.
• Substantial experience in financial services, wealth management, investment management, portfolio management or related field.
• Strong ability to explain investment concepts clearly to advisors and clients.
• Ability to travel within the territory regularly.

Responsibilities

• Own acquisition and growth for Schwab Asset Management solutions across the territory.
• Build durable relationships with Financial Consultants, branch leaders and regional partners.
• Act as a strategic partner to help advisors identify client needs and position solutions.
• Join advisor meetings to provide education on investment strategies.
• Develop knowledge of investment philosophies, portfolio construction and product features.
• Lead in-market client events and educational programs.
• Utilize Salesforce, Tableau and reporting tools to manage opportunities and analyze trends.
• Collaborate across WAMS and with partners to deliver a coordinated experience.
• Manage territory with regular travel and branch visits.
