Job summary

Charles Schwab Corporation seeks an experienced relationship-builder and sales professional to acquire and grow Schwab Asset Management products across a defined territory. You will translate investment concepts for advisors, tailor engagement by branch and practice, and partner with teams to deliver coordinated investment solutions.

You are expected to travel regularly within the territory and live within the designated area to support local clients and events.

Qualifications

• Active and valid FINRA Series 7 licenses.
• Active and valid FINRA Series 66 licenses.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in consultative sales, business development or relationship management with a proven track record.
• Experience in financial services, wealth management or related field.
• Ability to explain investment concepts clearly to clients.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Own acquisition and growth for Schwab Asset Management managed investing solutions and selected third-party offerings across their territory.
• Build durable relationships with Financial Consultants, branch leaders and regional partners; tailor engagement to each branch and advisor practice.
• Act as a strategic thought partner to help advisors identify prospective clients and position investment solutions.
• Join advisor meetings to provide clear education on investment strategies and solutions.
• Develop knowledge of investment philosophies, portfolio construction, holdings and client needs.
• Create and deliver sales ideas, product updates and market-informed education.
• Lead branch education and rollout of new products and initiatives.
• Develop and execute an in-market client event strategy including branch meetings and events.
• Use Salesforce, Tableau and other reporting tools to manage opportunities and analyze trends.
• Collaborate across WAMS and with partners to deliver a coordinated experience.
• Manage the territory with a strong field presence and regular travel.
