Job summary

Cantex Continuing Care Network is seeking a Regional Director of Business Development to lead sales, marketing, census growth and market expansion across an assigned region. This role partners with hospital systems, physicians and case managers to drive referrals and occupancy in SNFs throughout the region.

The position requires regional travel, strategic planning and strong leadership capabilities to achieve census, admissions and revenue goals while coaching regional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of leadership in multi‑facility long‑term care sales and marketing.
• Minimum 5 years of healthcare business development experience.
• Strong understanding of SNF, post‑acute, long‑term care and referral networks.
• Proven history achieving census, admissions, occupancy and revenue goals.
• Experience coaching and developing sales and business development teams.
• Building relationships with hospitals, physicians, case management and health systems.
• Strong market analysis, demographic trends and growth strategy knowledge.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage regional sales and marketing plans.
• Drive census growth, admissions, occupancy and payer mix optimization.
• Lead and influence business development teams to meet census goals.
• Strengthen referral relationships with hospitals, physicians, ACOs and community partners.
• Identify market opportunities through analysis and demographic research.
• Spearhead initiatives to increase market share and regional brand awareness.
• Collaborate with ops to achieve census, revenue and quality objectives.
• Support recruiting, onboarding and development of business development staff.
