Job summary

Maymont Homes is seeking a Regional Director to oversee designated markets, BTR communities, and manage a portfolio of single-family home rentals. You will partner with regional teams to set business plans, objectives, and strategies aligned with company priorities.

The role requires 5-7 years in property management, 10 years in leadership, and proven ability to lead geographically dispersed teams. Travel up to 60% and strong budgeting, negotiation, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 5-7 years of property management experience, preferably in Single-Family Rental.
• 10 years of general management or leadership experience.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed teams.
• Lean / Six Sigma experience is a plus.
• Experience in real estate, business planning, and budgeting with responsibility for results.
• Knowledge of fair housing and local real estate laws, where applicable.
• Strong presentations and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze financial impact of decisions and track performance metrics.
• Ability to travel up to 60% with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee market personnel, train and coach staff, and hire based on staffing needs.
• Monitor performance and provide daily guidance to achieve metrics.
• Review renovations and turnover to hit targets.
• Oversee weekly market operations including CS, events, move-ins/outs.
• Assist pricing team with market and home insights.
• Handle escalations between teams and departments.
• Communicate company initiatives up, down and across the org.
• Develop and implement best-in-class procedures and policies.
• Drive long-term growth strategy for Operations and the company.
• Ensure compliance with state real estate laws and audits.
