Job summary

Maymont Homes is seeking a Regional Director to oversee designated markets, BTR communities, and a portfolio of single‑family rentals. You will partner with regional teams to set and meet business plans aligned with corporate priorities, and lead a dispersed team towards profitability and operational excellence.

The role requires 5–7 years in property management, strong leadership, and deep real estate knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 5-7 years of property management experience, preferably in Single-Family Rental operations.
• 10 years of general management or leadership experience.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed team.
• Lean / Six Sigma experience a plus.
• Experience in real estate, business planning, and budgeting with focus on operational and financial results.
• Strong ability to identify improvements and implement procedures and performance standards.
• Knowledge of fair housing and local real estate laws.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel ~60% including air travel and overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee market personnel, including training and coaching to achieve targets.
• Manage renovations and turnover to meet metrics.
• Oversee weekly operational performance across markets (customer service, events, move‑in/move‑out).
• Assist pricing with market insights for homes.
• Handle escalations and interdepartmental questions.
• Communicate company initiatives up and down the org chart.
• Develop and implement best‑in‑class procedures and drive change across markets.
• Develop long‑term growth strategy for Operations and the company.
• Ensure compliance with state real estate laws and audits.
• Coach and hold accountable Market Operations Manager for performance.
