Job summary

Maymont Homes, part of Brookfield, is seeking a Regional Director to oversee designated markets and a portfolio of single-family home rentals. You will partner with regional teams to set and meet business plans, budgets, and strategies aligned with Brookfield priorities.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in leadership, 5–7 years in SFR operations, and strong skills in planning, budgeting, and process improvement. Travel 60% to manage markets and drive performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 5-7 years of property management experience, preferably in Single-Family Rental operations.
• 10 years of general management or leadership experience.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed team.
• Lean / Six Sigma experience a plus.
• Real estate, business planning, and budgeting with direct responsibility for operational and financial results.
• Demonstrated expertise in identifying areas for improvement and establishing procedures to increase efficiency.
• Knowledge of fair housing and local real estate laws where applicable.
• MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; advanced preferred.
• Ability to present to groups to establish credibility.
• Understanding of financial impact of operational decisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversees market personnel, training, coaching, and recruitment based on staffing needs.
• Monitor performance and provide daily guidance to achieve metrics.
• Review renovations and turnover approvals to hit targets.
• Oversee week-to-week market operations including customer service and maintenance activities.
• Assist pricing with market insights for homes.
• Handle first-line escalations between teams and departments.
• Communicate company-wide updates and market dynamics to leadership and peers.
• Develop and implement best-in-class procedures and policies; drive change with buy-in.
• Develop long-term growth strategy for Operations and the company.
• Ensure compliance with state real estate laws and company policies; guide audits.
• Drive profitability and operational excellence; coach Market Operations Manager.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.
