Job summary

Loenbro, LLC in Franklin, TN seeks a Regional Director of Planning and Controls to standardize and drive project planning across the region. This executive role bridges executive leadership and field execution, ensuring compliance with Loenbro processes from inception to closeout.

You will lead audits, data quality checks, and cross-functional collaboration with regional CFO and operations teams to improve financial predictability and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in Project Controls, Planning, or Construction Management with regional/multi-project leadership
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Finance; MBA or PMP preferred
• Deep understanding of Earned Value Management, cost-loading, and scheduling software
• Strong analytical ability to spot anomalies in large datasets and trace to field behavior
• Operational diplomacy to balance financial objectives with field realities

Responsibilities

• Enforce processes across regional project teams to Loenbro standards
• Ensure PMs and field supervision receive required planning and control training
• Lead change management initiatives across the region
• Conduct milestone audits at 10%, 30%, 60%, and 90% physical completion
• Provide high-level consultancy during kickoff and pre-job planning meetings
• Guide 80% physical completion exit strategy and post-job reviews
• Maintain oversight of project awards, budgets, staffing, and forecasts
• Lead data quality and KPI reviews, including LEI and productivity metrics
• Support regional leadership with executive status updates and cross-functional alignment
• Develop and mentor a team of project controls professionals
