Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a Corporate Regional Director of Patient Access to provide leadership across admitting and patient accounting disciplines in our hospital network. You will oversee registration, eligibility, financial counseling, and related processes, guiding staff and implementing standardized workflows.

This role requires Epic experience, strong regulatory knowledge (OSHPD, CMS, EMTALA), and proven management ability in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree required.
• Two to three years experience as a Director in the Admitting areas of an acute care facility required, with management and leadership experience of five to eight years preferred.
• Understanding regulatory standards (OSHPD, CMS, EMTALA) and strong organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all Prime Healthcare Admitting and PFS departments and training.
• Manage registration, eligibility, verification, cash processes, and related areas; ensure standardized training.
• Lead end-to-end Patient Access workflow design across scheduling, preregistration, financial clearance, arrival/check-in, and ED registration.
• Document and maintain click-level standard work for each registration workflow; ensure consistency across access points.
• Align local workflows to enterprise standards and validate changes in ERH before deployment.
