Job summary

You will lead the Admitting and Patient Accounting functions, shaping registration workflows from scheduling through ED check-in and financial clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; high school diploma acceptable with relevant experience.
• 2–3 years experience as a Director in the Admitting areas of an acute care facility with 5–8 years leadership preferred.
• EPIC implementation experience is required.
• Ability to interpret regulatory standards as they apply to Admitting, OSHPD, CMS and EMTALA.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to all Prime Healthcare Admitting areas and Patient Accounting relations.
• Own end-to-end Patient Access workflows from scheduling to ED registration and financial clearance.
• Oversee EPIC implementations and drive performance in live production environments.
• Manage daily work queues and aging to thresholds, prioritizing revenue-critical tasks.
• Document standardized work and ensure staff competency after Changes.
• Align local workflows to enterprise standards and close authorization gaps with other departments.
